i would be down to play WHENEVER. however, for some reason when i try to play death drome i make it into the level.. but that platform that i start on, when the camera starts to rotate around it before the countdown, the camera view goes under the platform and the platform slowly fades away into the distance and the game never starts. do you know anything of this problem?

Actually i fixed that. my computer was in 16bit from using an N64 emulator and i put it back to 32 and that part was fixed. However, visually everything is going slow and is kind of shaky. also when i jump i kind of just nose dive or it doesn't jump at all. what visual settings is best for DD to run?

okay after some further testing the main problem im having is with the runner jumping. i jump, its just a nose dive everytime. Also... do the runners kind of slip and slide around when making sharp turns? its been a while so i dont remember exactly how the control was

im close to getting it to work how i want it to. i think the reason the runner does a nose dive everytime i jump is linked to death drome running faster than it should. i tried a couple of programs to slow down death drome and i was able to jump normal on OCCASION. are there any programs out there to slow down games that are maybe more efficient or is there another way to do this? i tried compatability mode but that seems to just mess with display settings more than it changes the speed because it is still just as fast.

The sliding when making a sharp turn is normal. Jumping can be tricky sometimes, but doesn't usually nose dive like that.
If you're having problems with the control you might want to try uninstalling, then reinstall. I had a problem with the controls earlier and after doing that it hasn't happened again.
Are you using the keyboard or a gamepad? Just curious.
It might be good if you posted some info about your system. I'm using an Intel pc with a Geforce MX 4000 card and WinXP (SP3).
I'm not sure about the programs that slow down your game. It's been a long time since i've had to use one, but i can look around.
By the way, sorry i just missed you. I was logged on here when you posted, but i was busy. I'll leave kali running for a while and stay logged in here just in case.

Windows XP Home Edition SP3 Intel Pentium 4 2.66GHz 640MB Ram
Radeon 9200 Graphics OR Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Control
and im using the keyboard for controls
the nose dive jumping is everytime i try to jump. it really makes it almost unplayable because i cant jump high at all or make any jumps really. But when slowing down my pc with this thing CPUKiller my runner would jump normally every once in a while. but id say i still nose dive 90% of the time.

Does the game seem to run at a normal speed using CPUKiller or just slower than before?

at a higher resolution the game seems to run at a normal speed. i actually think i may be running at normal speed now so CPUkiller, which i already uninstalled, would probably make it run slower. However i am still having the nosedive problem. i mean... it MIGHT be running faster than normal. the runners spinning when choosing a runner seems to spin faster than normal. I think i remember installing DD a few years ago on another computer and having this same problem. ive been testing all different kinds of display settings out

okay then i think EVERYTHING is running fine EXCEPT for the jumping. i mean i can jump but its like only the back of my runner jumps, the front stays down or just doesnt jump as high as it should.

If you read this, I have a solution. It's not a fix, but it's a solution.
You said the runner does a nose dive every time you jump. That means the rear is elevated, right? So jump backwards! Reverse, hold down the Look Back key and jump. I've tested it and, after a few practice tries, it works perfectly! :-)
