You know that sword has been hanging there for a while above DD, just as during the Heat days, only now with a shrunk timespan and crowd. Although the outcome ain't much different, resulting in a slow and silent death.
As ever ya can regret it but can't deny the facts. This is when you remember the good times and put things in a broader perspective so it don't mean much of deal. Ironically that same feeling helped to bring the game back to the surface more than 2 years after the notorious Heat downfall. DD has never been a commercial succes and especially for today's standards, not even the least attractive.
All that was left, was a short-term nostalgic energy which has now faded even for the die-hards who were willing to ride these last miles, just for the heck of it.
We all knew our s-lut was diagnosed with hiv but still had to rape it over again cuz that's where many of us lost our online noob virginity. Who wouldn't want to redo and proper f**k that first pimpled shag? Indeed the magic was lost but still a shag.
To cut the riddles, about a 30ish of ex-Heat dromers passed by after all this time and gave positive reactions to the DD revival either by playing, coming over to chat at the lobby, on ICQ, AIM or MSN, at the VBC network and smaller boards or via the DD (clan)sites.

We're still looking for 'DD Heat version' because we didn't manage to get a good multiplayer game going yet. If anyone can help us find it, it could help for a more stable multiplayer experience.
I also hope the permanent discord link works again...
